3 Our father (A)died in the wilderness, and he was not among the assembly of them that were assembled against the Lord in the company of Korah, but died in his [a]sin, and had no sons.
4 Wherefore should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he hath no son? give us a possession among the brethren of our father.
5 Then Moses brought their [b]cause before the Lord.
